I watched the whole coverage from start to finish, cried a little bit on numerous occasions like an absolute goon, and in a completely un-gay way, could not take my eyes off of Kate - She looked more than amazing.
THE DRESS
It seemed the rumours that I had heard were correct. Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen did design Kate's wedding dress, and I don't think the dress could have been more stunning. I've heard people saying it seems a bit boring.. WHAT? It is elegant, with a hint of plainness, yet is made to look stylish with the white lace overlay on the top of the dress, as well as with the sweetheart neckline. The dress stunningly brought her in at the waistline, and the padded hips created a Victorian style corset dress feel with the flowing bottom half of the dress below. Also, the floral detail which is featured on the bottom part of the dress and on the 2metre long train adds intricate, feminine detail to the HEAVENLY dress overall.
THE EVENING GOWN
Kate went against many expectations that she would wear a colourful dress for the evening celebrations and appeared on her way back to the palace in another beautiful white dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The waist of the dress is a band of diamanté, which I think make it looks really classy and luxurious, and the white bolero cardigan adds soft texture to the dress, covering her shoulders.
As if she wasn't lucky enough, she gets to wear these AMAZING dresses as well. GO KATE.
